This is Ben Booher, the GM over at EM Tech, LLC. I wanted to thank Door Jak for the value they added to our recent door installation project, and pass on this photo of our installation team.
Given this project's environment, timing is critical, but with 4 of your Door Jak Installation carts in use, our team was able to install approximately 550 new doors and all associated hardware in a major Seattle hospital in less than our scheduled timeframe with no injuries and without having to shut down and operation rooms or critical access areas.
I'm so impressed by a tool that can reduce work related injuries while delivering efficient and consistent performance.
Way to go, Door Jak!

I've been hanging doors for years, usually with the help of another member of my crew. The DoorJak allows me to hang doors by myself, freeing up the guys to do other things at a jobsite. I can roll the door right up into the jamb and it keeps the door in place while I hang it. The best thing about the DoorJak is that it really saves me from back pain after hanging doors all day.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much we love the DoorJak 100.
I purchased this piece of equipment after landing a job at a hospital to renovate a Radiation Oncology Unit for a Linear Accelerator.
The entrance door to the existing room is solid core, 4'-0" Wide X 7'-0" Tall, and features a lead lining that is 1/8" thick. The door was in place for
several years, and the Pivot Hinges were worn and missing ball bearings. Needless to say, the hinges required replacement.
I looked at several options to remove the door to accommodate the required hinge replacement, and settled on the DoorJak100.
I knew the door weighed in excess of 700 lbs. (my preliminary estimate was about 800+ lbs.). I didn't feel comfortable assigning this task to
4 or 5 workers, and risking that something would go wrong, and one or more of the workers getting hurt, or the door being damaged, or both.
The DoorJak 100 was brought in, strapped to the door, adjusted to relieve the weight off of the hinges. The hinges were then detached from the frame.
The DoorJak 100 didn't even move. We tilted the door to the transport position, and it held fast. As much as that door weighed, it rolled surprisingly smooth and easy. My crew was skeptical at first, but after experiencing the removal was thoroughly impressed. I stored the door on the DoorJak until the project equipment was in the room, and the replacement hinges were received. After replacing the pivot hinges, the door install went just as smooth and incident free as the removal. The adjustments incorporated into the design on the DoorJak 100, (being able to independently lift or lower the right and/or left side of the door, as well as having the ability to move the door left or right) without moving the DoorJak, were key to making this possible. We were able to perfectly align the door so that the hinges could easily be secured, before releasing the DoorJak from the door.
A well thought out design, obviously by someone with years of experience doing what we do!
I can't express enough how much I appreciate this piece of equipment! Well Done!
